Create New Account MastersThe Create New Account Masters allows you to copy one or all of your GL account numbers (and descriptions) from your main branch to another. Essentially, this selection is a short cut to setting up your Chart of Accounts for other branches or divisions once you have established them for your main branch.
The General Ledger Master Chart Copy is relatively easy to operate. You must enter your company number, the original branch to copy, the account number to copy, and the Copy-To branch ID. For the account number, you may enter a particular account number or you may copy ALL the accounts from one branch to another. Profi'C will automatically display the number of accounts it is copying before it asks you for the Copy To Branch ID.
